Joey "Joe" Labute Jr. waas last seen at Union Café in the Short North on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 12:30AM. He was last seen wearing brownish/blue flannel shirt with a blue t-shirt underneath and blue jeans.

Community Partners: BRAVO, Union Café, and Stonewall Columbus are organizing a community wide search effort Tomorrow, Saturday, March 12, 2016. The search effort will be based out the The Center on High/Stonewall Community Center located at 1160 N. High Street Columbus, OH 43201.

Volunteers are needed to walk and search in designated areas – in a coordinated effort to find clues to Joey’s disappearance. We ask volunteers to register for a search team between 8:00 and 9:00 AM on Saturday morning. Orientation will begin promptly at 9 AM. Teams will then depart for their designated area. Headquarters will be staffed throughout the search day. If you cannot make it to the 9 AM orientation session, we still need and want your help. Stop by the Center and join in when you can.

We ask the following:

  • Please dress appropriately - Long pants, closed toed walking shoes
  • No Dogs
  • No Children
  • Bring your cell phone
  • Bring your ID
  • Bring a walking stick if you have one

Additional support needed, we encourage donations of bottled water, snacks, fruit, etc. to help searchers throughout the day. Donations can be dropped off at Stonewall until 5 PM today Friday, March 11th or anytime Saturday morning.
